What a great way to start the year. Last week was my first time performing at Tattoo Freeze. A whole new audience I could showcase my African circus skills to!
What a fabulous festival it is. Based at the International Conference centre in Telford there were over 200 talented tattooists there. I was so impressed by the artistry of the tattooists. Their designs were amazing. They must be the celebrities of the tattoo world as most were fully booked before the show started. So many lucky visitors were getting amazing tattoos done. I had lots of safety worries balancing things on my head with so many needles nearby! It was definitely a fun but challenging walkabout environment.
African circus skills, acrobatics and dance went down well with the audiences for my stage performances too. It’s always great when the audience are happy to join in. Today’s performances were made by the lovely enthusiastic people who joined in.
There were some other fantastic acts on too. For instance, Lady Luck & The Riverside Boys and Tom Dibb Vanside Tunes who both kept the audience happy with their great music.
